Ruggie's speakers can generate really loud sounds, ranging from 90-120 decibels. This is a design feature, because Ruggie's job is to get users out of bed. It creates the urgency to jump out of bed and stop the alarm.
But what if I want to lower the volume?
Ruggie now has volume settings. You can lower it in the 4th mode, from levels 1 to 5. 5 being the loudest. This is based on our newest models.
If you happened to purchase our older version dating back mid 2017, then the only way the volume can be lowered is if you put masking tape over the speakers.
